Located near the Moƛciska substation (110 kV), the BESS9 project will provide 100.2 MW of power and 200.4 MWh of capacity, reinforcing the stability of the capital’s power grid—one of the most demanding energy areas in the country.

📍 BESS10 in Zabrze

The BESS10 energy storage facility, connected to the Rokitnica substation (400 kV), will feature 203.7 MW of power and 814.7 MWh of capacity. Its strategic location in Silesia will help bolster the grid in Poland’s key industrial region.

“The capacity market plays an extremely important role in ensuring stability and security of energy supply in Poland. Winning the auction is a testament to the outstanding expertise of the entire Hynfra Energy Storage team, which we hope will continue to grow its market participation,” said Jacek Wiƛniewski, CEO of Hynfra Energy Storage.

The main capacity market auction for the 2029 delivery year concluded in the seventh round at a closing price of PLN 264.9/kW/year, with a total of 8,053.577 MW in offered capacity obligations. Final results will be approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office in January 2025.
